“Only you can control your future.”
~Dr. Seuss
What is your purpose? That’s a biggie with so many people. Many times we feel it’s only tied to our careers but it can go much deeper than that in how we show up to others and ourselves in the world.
A great way to start is by developing a mission statement for your life. For fun, grab a pen and piece of paper. Write down the following questions and answer them with your first thoughts:
1. What do I want to do?
2. Who do I want to help?
3. What results do I desire?
4. What value do I want to create in this world?
Try the exercise 2-3 more times. When you get to a point where you feel truly moved, you’ve probably found your purpose!
