Why Do You Doubt Your Magnificence?

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” — George Bernard Shaw

It’s fascinating how easy it is to be hard on ourselves. To starve our minds, bodies, and souls in the hopes of becoming something better, thinner, smarter, or richer.

The irony is… everything you are in this moment is perfection. You are made of something beyond comprehension and are here for a reason. Call it your dharma, purpose, mission.

You have never lost yourself. Remember that. You are here and you matter. Your only job is to bring to life your extraordinary essence to the world.

What would make your heart sing? Go out and try it.

How do you want to feel today? Do one thing that leads you in that direction no matter how small.

What inspires your inner artist? That child within you abandoned long ago? Have a conversation with them today and get creative. It could be a trip to the stationary store, a museum, or simply pulling out a book that evokes that essence of what you are trying to create.

Even the simplest of things like a good cup of tea in your grandmother’s tea cup can add something to your day that is indescribable and yet powerful.

You are beautiful and loved.

XO,

Meg
