Where’s Your Safe Haven?

“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”

~Maya Angelou

We all have the ability to find within ourselves a place of safety regardless of what life brings from the outside.

Maybe this “place” mimics the feelings you had as a child. Or reversely, maybe home wasn’t such a great place and you’ve had to consciously create your own version of a safe haven.

Either way, at the core we are all looking for “home.” A place free from fear and anxiety. A place where things are cozy, love abounds, and acceptance is the given.

Today, remember to move away from choices which “mess with your peace” and to always choose what feels right, healthy, and good.

Have a happy day!
