Speak Your Truth

Say what you mean… mean what you say. Pretty clear-cut. So why is it so difficult for some of us? Might it be fear of rejection? Hurting others? Fears of acknowledging our own selves?

If you are looking for more peace in your life, begin with speaking your truth in every situation, small or large. It takes some practice so maybe begin with the “easy” ones… a friend asks your preference for which movie …your spouse asks which restaurant you’d like to go to…your Mom buys you an outfit you know you dread wearing! It’s OKAY to have preferences. The world won’t end if you pipe up and have an opinion.

The daily habit of speaking your truth begins to “settle in” and that feels good! Eventually, it becomes foreign to push away what you know and believe about yourself. Soon, it begins to feel natural to give respect to your voice.

Only you know your truth. Only you have the power to speak it!

All my best,

Meg
