Self-Love

“You, yourself, as much as anybody else in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” ~Buddha

Do you love yourself? Do you give yourself encouragement, attention, and nurturing? Or do you instead hand over all your energy to others, beat yourself up with negative self-talk, and simply turn your back on yourself?
What would it feel like to be your own best friend, to look in the mirror and love every part of that person?

If this seems like a stretch for you, today simply become aware of how you think, feel, and talk about yourself whether out loud or in your head. Challenge yourself to replace those statements with ones you might bestow upon a friend or significant other. Our thoughts eventually become reality, so as we choose kindly, what follows is self-love.

Wishes to you for a happy day!
