Secrets to Longevity

“People are like trees, the leaves are many but the root is one and remember only a good foundation guarantees success and longevity.”

~Vikrant Parsai

Looking for some inspiration to jump-start a feel good summer? Dan Buettner, author of The Blue Zones, traveled the world and found that people with longer life spans tended to incorporate the following daily habits into their lives:

· Part of a faith based community

· Plant-based diet

· Move naturally (incorporate movement into daily activities such as lawn work)

· Knowing and living their purpose

· Slow down

· Eat like a King for breakfast, Prince for lunch, and Pauper for dinner

· Reduced alcohol consumption (1-2 glasses of wine per day)

· Putting loved ones first

· Create an “inner circle” of friends and family who have lifestyles you admire and who bring out the best in you

Wishes to you for a great day!
