Perfect Imperfections

“Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway. “

~Mother Theresa

Sometimes it’s easier to hide our fears, insecurities, or dark sides than it is to be fully who we are, imperfections and all. It takes courage to remove the masks we have picked up throughout the years. The good news is that by removing these masks, we are able to find true joy in relationships, friendships and professional partnerships.

Today, make a commitment to yourself to choose honesty at every turn. Be aware of your responses and catch even the small, “white lies,” and nip them in the bud. The more momentum you build with this type of approach to life, the easier it becomes to let the “true you” shine through.
