Needs

“Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.” ― Dalai Lama

What are you needs? Are they being met? Do frequently look to others to fulfill them? How often do you find yourself saying, “I need to feel safe… I need to feel secure…I need to feel loved… I need to feel good… I need to feel like a priority… I need to feel I can depend on you… I need to know everything will be okay.”

If you find yourself consistently in a space of “needing,” first ask if you are treating yourself in a way that satisfies these needs. If not, what are ways you can provide them to yourself? By doing so, you begin to live a “needless” life, existing as a whole person regardless of how others treat you. Once this happens, you are able to truly take care of others and whatever is given back to you is simply beautiful icing on the cake.

Wishes to you for a happy day!
