Let It Be Today

Are things blowing up all around you? The job, the relationship, your sense of who you are and what you want. What’s your knee jerk reaction? Maybe it’s one of focusing on the issue, trying to come up with solutions, and setting deadlines to that solution.

If this isn’t bringing you anything but more anxiety, try something different. Not only do you set the problem aside… but even more importantly you set aside any strategizing on the solution for now. Sometimes, when we are so close to the problem, it’s too difficult to come up with answers.

Quieting your mind and giving yourself a reprieve from the drama, discussing the situation, chaos, choices, decisions, solutions, options, situation….. is when things start to flow easily. When you hop off the “thinking” roller coaster, and just get your mind on something that makes you HAPPY, most likely the solution will naturally appear without you having to try so hard.

When is enough…. enough? When is it time for a break, a walk, a meditation… when is it time to simply “be?”
