Get Inspired to Get Organized!

It’s spring-cleaning time! Is your physical environment blocking you from allowing positive things into your personal or professional life? The state of the space we occupy has a huge effect on our state of mind. How can we expect our days to run smoothly when we don’t have any clean clothes, our keys are missing, and the car is on empty. Examples such as these create feelings of chaos and prevent us from living with a sense of ease.

This weekend, why not set in motion a plan to tackle the “stuff” once and for all by acknowledging the present situation, taking inventory, developing a strategy, and taking action! Interested? Good!

Here we go…..

1.Set aside 30 minutes.

2.Grab a pencil and notebook.

3.Walk to each room of your home. Write down everything you want to discard, fix, or donate. Don’t just choose the big things but also the small items which are simmering annoyances (leaky faucets, messy drawers, etc.)

4.Continue on to your attic, basement, and garage.

5.Don’t forget your car!

6.Congratulate yourself for taking the first step of consolidating all your “clutter” into one document!

7.Commit yourself to handling 3-5 items on your list each week. You won’t believe how taking baby steps creates incredible momentum and before you know it, they’re gone!

8.Take action. This weekend remove 3-5 items on your list.

9.Remember perfection is not the goal, but instead creating an environment for you to be the best version of yourself is!

**If you have family members, this is a good time to set up a family meeting to collectively discuss and design your plan of action.

This truly is one of my passions! If you need any assistance please reach out to me via email or phone and I’d be happy to “coach” you along!
