Dear Darling,
I love everything to do with tea time. Rose tea, chamomile tea, honey, lemon, creamy oat milk creamer… and hopefully some treats as well. Yet, I rarely take the time for it. Can you relate?
Well, when coincidences happen it’s a good time to listen don’t you think?
Two friends of mine religiously have afternoon tea which is something I aspire to do as well but forget! Well, one of them happened to drop off the most delicious scone at my door and the other happened to text ten minutes later with a “I’m about to take break from work for tea, care to chat for a bit?”
So I gave her a ring while eating the scrumptious afternoon treat and I must say it was a highlight to my day!
I think, at least for me, tea time carried the assumption it was more work than I had time for but really it simply requires a simple cup! The easiest and most simple pleasures oftentimes make the highest impact on our mental and physical health.
Here are some ideas to make tea time a part of your day

My favorite things are fresh sheets, fresh flowers, and now… teatime. It’s the simple pleasures that don’t cost a lot that often bring us the most joy.
I’m off for a nibble and sip…Cheerio!
