Delegate

“Delegating means letting others become the experts and hence the best.”

~Timothy Firnstahl

For some reason, we feel we need to do it all. Why is that? Focusing attention on mastering things we don’t like or are good at, actually takes time and energy away from fine-tuning the skills we excel at!

If you are terrible at paying bills, chances are you have racked up late fees over the years and continue to do so now. Delegate the chore to a bill paying company.

Your calendar is an absolute mess? Hire an online administration assistant.

You are overwhelmed with your career and household responsibilities like cleaning, watering the flowers, mowing the lawn… hire out or delegate to your family members.

You are social planner with friends and it’s draining your energy. You are the one everyone texts on where and when to meet. You always end up being one they look to for figuring out who owes what on the bill. Solution? Consciously step back and resist the temptation to take charge. Pretty soon your friends will step up.

When we begin delegating things we aren’t good at or are simply burned out on, we have more to give to those around us. What can you start delegating? Think about it, write it down… but start doing it!

Wishes to you for a happy day!
