Connect. Trust. Let Go.

“True happiness comes not when we get rid of all of our problems, but when we change our relationship to them, when we see our problems as a potential source of awakening, opportunities to practice, and to learn.”

~Richard Carlson

Sometimes our “problems” are simply bigger than we are able to handle. It is in these moments of clarity we have an opportunity to move beyond ourselves, realizing we don’t have to do it alone.

Are you someone who holds the world on your shoulders? You prefer to “go it alone” no matter how tough it becomes? Reaching out to someone would signal weakness?

If that no longer works for you, maybe it’s time to surrender. Maybe it’s time to CONNECT, TRUST, and LET GO:

Connect: Reach out to someone you trust. This might be a mentor, family member, friend, God, or spirit.

Trust: Believe you are exactly where you should be. Believe all will be okay. There is learning to experience and the picture is much bigger than it seems at the moment.

Let Go: Disengage from over thinking. Breathe.

In moments of panic, impatience, hurt, or anger, give the process a try. Chances are, things come into perspective very quickly and what once seemed like a huge deal suddenly becomes small in the big scheme of things.

Wishes to you for a peaceful day!
