What does it feel like to be stuck in that funk?
Not good. It affects us physically, mentally, and emotionally. Double whammy happens when our energy begins to attract other downers in the form of experiences and people. Let’s be honest… when we aren’t feeling inspired, confident, and at peace it’s a heck of a lot easier to hang with “debbie downers” or even better point the finger at everyone else to avoid what is really going on within.
Like many of you, I’ve been there and it’s not fun. In fact, when you are “in” it, it’s pretty hard to snap out of it… but you can.
What I’ve found is all it takes is a little courage to take action with a few easy steps:
1. Identify the heart of the matter. What are you resisting in your life? Is it really the other people triggering you or perhaps is it something that is hidden beneath the surface that is pushing it’s way up like a beach ball popping out of the water after being held down for too long? Unless we identify the source of our discontent, the resistance continues,,,and unfortunately those stuck feelings. When we get lovingly honest with ourselves, we then are able to quickly move into action mode.
2. Focus on what IS thriving in your life. Saying “BYE BYE” to the comparison game or the “bad luck” you’ve experienced is releasing the energy of the past. When you look at life through the lens of “they have this and I don’t” (AKA Facebook Envy!) it’s no wonder you feel stuck![ctt template=”5″ link=”odFPu” via=”no” ] STAY IN YOUR LANE AND YOU WON’T GET DRAINED![/ctt] Remember, this life is YOUR story so step into the starring role and get on with living.
3. You are “in” the answer right now. Trying to figure things out so much that your head hurts? Release the need to know anything and realize that the journey we all are on right now in this day with all the “stuff” going on, is really the answer. We find our purpose and our way as we dive into this beautiful life and absorb the essence and energy of everything with curiosity and gratitude.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend-
